The fire in Manisa has been put out
Meanwhile, firefighters were on alert in the Ismailbey area of Alasehir district and the Narankali area of Uşak’s Eşme district. Moreover, electricity in the areas was cut off by Electricity Commissioner Alasehir Gediz as a precautionary measure.
As a result of the fire, trains between Uşak and Basmane (Izmir) were also suspended as a precautionary measure, while all air traffic in the region was suspended as of 8pm due to the worsening weather conditions.

The fire, which started in grassland near the Ismailbei district, spread to surrounding farmland and then forest due to winds, but was contained in about 13 hours by the intervention of local teams as cooling efforts continue in the area.
