In the final match, Bodrum FK won 3-1 after extra time and became the first team in history to be promoted to the Super League.
Bodrum FK, coached by İsmet Tashdemir, took the lead in the 19th minute with a goal from Gökdeniz Bayrakdar, but Sakaryaspor was left with 10 men on the field after Rotman received a red card in the 45th minute.

Sakaryaspor continued with 10 men and then equalised with a goal from Dimitrov in the 72nd minute, sending the match into extra time.

At the cup ceremony held after the match, TFF representative Volkan Can presented the winner’s cup to Bodrum FK players.
Bodrum FK President Fikret Özturk congratulated the board members, technical staff and players and wished them success in the Super League next season.

“I can’t find the words to say right now. It’s easy to say, but for three years we were in the playoffs and the finals every year. Last year we were so hurt, so sad. This year we said the story was left unfinished. This year they completed that unfinished story,” he said.
Bodrum FK players celebrated their promotion to the Super League by storming into the press conference with the cup and showering coach Ismet Taşdemir with drenched water.
