Hi guys,
I need a new phone and I’m thinking of buying an iPhone 15. But I also know that the new iPhone will be released in 3 months. But first I need to tell you about the situation in Turkey. Here, 1 dollar is about ₺32 (₺ = Turkish Lira) on average. (10 years ago it was 2 Lira.) As if that’s not enough, the taxes imposed by the country double the price of a phone in dollars. When the iPhone 15 was first released, its price was 49999 Lira ($1553). Now Apple sells it for 58499 Lira ($1817), but you can buy it on Amazon for 49399 Lira ($1534). Perhaps when the iPhone 16 is released, its price will be more than ₺58499, the exchange rate will be recalculated, etc. Perhaps the price of the iPhone 15 will remain the same as the price I bought it for. But do you think I will regret it if I buy the iPhone 15 while the new model is 3 months away? I’m also very curious about WWDC. Will the iPhone 15 mean I won’t have access to some of Apple’s new features? We can’t access these devices as easily as in the US or Europe. That’s why people get bored. I thought about buying a cheap phone for the time being, but I think it would be a waste of money. On the other hand, it seems relatively more affordable to buy an Android device. I used to have a Galaxy S23, but I had to sell it. I’m wondering whether to buy the same one. I’ve used the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 before. I’m familiar with Apple. I have a relatively large movie and music archive. Like many people, I want to have the best phone, but I lack the ability to make decisions. Strangely enough, on the contrary, sometimes I do whatever comes to mind.
The best.
