However, not all of Shekinah’s plastic surgery experiences yielded positive results. Back in January 2021, the TLC personality went on a lengthy rant on her Instagram Stories about the failure of a PDO thread lift, which was meant to be less invasive than facelift surgery. Shekinah revealed that she had to have her stitches removed because they started coming out of her face.
“It’s been a year since my surgery and it’s so sad to see the ripples and indentations on my face from the threads,” she wrote.
After the threads were removed with tweezers, Shekinah was left with an indelible scar on her cheek.
The reality TV star took to social media in November 2023 to answer questions from fans and detailed her long list of plastic surgeries.
“I’ve had two facelifts, two necklifts, a brow lift, upper blepharoplasty, lip injections, regular Botox injections, and two nose jobs,” she said on Instagram Stories.
