“They save the boy and the girl falls into the void.”
Neighbor Özgül Berber spoke about 13-year-old Beren Suu, who died after falling down an elevator shaft in Ankara. Berber said Beren Suu called her son to tell him she was trapped in the elevator, and “my son also said, ‘My father’s friend is stuck in the elevator,’ so I said, ‘I can’t do anything.'” “It’s not our building, but we have to find the manager or resident of that building and help them. ‘Thank you, they called the fire brigade. The children were stuck on the sixth floor. When they got to the sixth floor,’ they said. The fire brigade opened the door from the fifth floor and rescued the boy, but he couldn’t bear it anymore. “Whatever happens, a child falls down the elevator shaft. Most buildings already have problems with this. Here, each building does its own maintenance, but I don’t know why this happened.”
The investigation into the incident continues.
